The Sure and Steady Anchor – Hebrews 6:13-20
By: Ben Lairamore
Series: Hebrews
Questions for Discussion & Application
- What questions do you have about today’s passage and message?
- Despite giving a strong warning to not fall away from trusting Jesus in Hebrews 6:4-8, it is clear that the author of Hebrews wants his readers to be assured of salvation, rather than stuck in fear and doubt. How is this seen?
- What can cause doubt of salvation in true believers? Have you ever struggled with this?
- How do God’s character and promises strengthen and encourage our faith?
- What promises did God make to Abraham? (See Genesis 12:1-2). How are Christians today the recipients of these promises?
- As Christians, what is our hope for the future? How does this hope anchor your soul in the storms of life?
- How will you apply this passage personally to your own life?
